Works on paper form a central material and visual line in Florian Mehnert's practice. Ink, charcoal, graphite and mixed media condense perception, landscape, trace and structural movement into tangible visual systems.
The works on paper are not a secondary medium beside the installations. They are concentrated image systems in which gesture, observation and spatial order become directly visible.
Across charcoal, ink, graphite and mixed media, the sheets hold the same system-analytical thinking that appears in the social and data-based projects: density, accumulation, field, trace and perceptual instability.
For galleries and collections, these works are the material core of the practice: autonomous, exhibition-ready works that carry the conceptual structure in a direct physical form.
